The Prosperos Are Holding A Key Tool To Self-Realization by ZS Livingstone (Jan. 9, 2016)

Millions watched the Oprah Winfrey Show when Eckhart Tolle introduced his books, The Power of NowPracticing the Power of NowStillness Speaks and A New Earth. Hundreds of thousands have read the books and sought the awareness of the Spark of Life in their hearts. Many have attended group training, meditations and satsangs and found how extraordinarily difficult it is to get around their prior training, dogmas, belief systems and ego in order to dwell in the Love of The Here and Now.

Thane Kenneth Walker (1900-1989), like Eckhart Tolle, attained Self-Realization and trained others to “knock on the door, and the door will open.” One of Walker’s techniques is called “Translation” and the copyright is held by The Prosperos, a society established by Thane Walker in 1956 in Culver City California.

The technique is the written application of the five steps of an argument in logic in regards to Universal Laws of Being. The beauty of Translation is that it trains the intellect to think like the Heart “thinks.”

In most meditations on the Here and Now, the thinking mind interrupts constantly preventing sustained Unity Awareness and the Self-Realization Love. Most of those who have read Eckhart Tolle have experienced glimpses of the Inner Heart. Translation brings a focus, placing you in the heart for minutes and with practice, for hours at a time. Translation speeds the transition and takes out many of the “bumps on the road” to self awareness. Translation is a good tool for self-forgiveness and the forgiveness of others.

The intellect is part of the material world. The Spark of Life in the Heart is part of the non-material or formless Being. Connecting to the Spark one connects to the Source of all Life.

Like Michelangelo’s painting of Adam reaching out to touch the finger of God, the intellect by itself cannot connect to the Spark of Life. In making the effort through right thinking, the Heart from within completes the connection and it is not just a handshake, but the warm embrace of God’s Love. Jesus’ Parable of The Prodigal Son shows the depth of the Father/Mother’s Love.

The ego only exists when the body is alive. When the body dies the ego dies. The ego hates its mortality. Only the Spark of Life is eternal. The ego is a temporary operating program designed to protect the body. Connecting to the Eternal Truth Within extinguishes the ego. The ego fights to prevent that. It is very cunning and places all manner of obstacles in the way. Translation helps remove the obstacles.

The Properos have kept the Training of Translation limited to a handful of people. The teacher of Translation must be done by someone who is at Thane Walker’s level of self realization. There are a few people who have achieved Unity Consciousness. The Properos needs to find more Thane Walkers.

About Thane Walker

Dean and Founder of The Prosperos – c 1900-1989Thane of Hawaii

Thane’s approach to teaching was revolutionary. His method was the oldest kind of therapy in the world — agape. Agape is a very special kind of love: the unselfish, unconditional giving of love.

Nowhere in the world today is the idea of agape more clearly demonstrated or espoused than in the teachings of Thane of Hawaii. In his classes, in open lectures, on recorded lessons, and in his writing, Thane demonstrated a unique ability to draw the truest meaning of agape from his students.
