*** General suggestions / observations ***

• This cycle is based on empirical data meaning enough data was observed and recorded to make it possible to suggest attitudes and  reactions.  Keep in mind that we all have free will and thus results will vary from one individual to another.

• The graph shows the energy high at the beginning of the cycle (not unlike any other astrological aspect) followed by a slow down before it gets strong and again this reflects years of tracking and noting feedback from our many students.

• If you are making a decision during this time you might want to let it set for a day or two then check your decision again to see if it still makes sense. However, you can feel into the ebb and flow and find good times to work on self emotionally in both the low and high points. Impatience, emotion and acts without thinking are common.

• With practice you can feel when the energy is there to help bring completion to tasks, goals and projects you may be working on.

Book: “Careless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed, and Lost Idealism”

Careless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed, and Lost Idealism

Sarah Wynn-Williams

An explosive memoir charting one woman’s career at the heart of one of the most influential companies on the planet, Careless People gives you a front-row seat to Facebook, the decisions that have shaped world events in recent decades, and the people who made them.

From trips on private jets and encounters with world leaders to shocking accounts of misogyny and double standards behind the scenes, this searing memoir exposes both the personal and the political fallout when unfettered power and a rotten company culture take hold. In a gripping and often absurd narrative where a few people carelessly hold the world in their hands, this eye-opening memoir reveals what really goes on among the global elite.

Sarah Wynn-Williams tells the wrenching but fun story of Facebook, mapping its rise from stumbling encounters with juntas to Mark Zuckerberg’s reaction when he learned of Facebook’s role in Trump’s election. She experiences the challenges and humiliations of working motherhood within a pressure cooker of a workplace, all while Sheryl Sandberg urges her and others to “lean in.”

Careless People is a deeply personal account of why and how things have gone so horribly wrong in the past decade—told in a sharp, candid, and utterly disarming voice. A deep, unflinching look at the role that social media has assumed in our lives, Careless People reveals the truth about the leaders of Facebook: how the more power they grasp, the less responsible they become and the consequences this has for all of us.

Weekly Invitational Translation: I am in a disharmonious relationship with my upstairs neighbor and with my camera.

Translation is a 5-step process of “straight thinking in the abstract” comparing and contrasting what seems to be truth with what you can syllogistically, axiomatically and mathematically (using word equations) prove is the truth. It is not an effort to change, alter or heal anything.

The claims in a Translation may seem outrageous, but they are always (or should always be) based on self-evident syllogistic reasoning. Here is one Translation from this week.

1)    Truth is that which is so.  That which is not truth is not so.  Therefore truth is all that is.  Truth being all is therefore total, therefore complete, therefore one, therefore united, therefore harmonious. I think therefore I am.  Since I am and since Truth is all that is, therefore I, being, am Truth. Since I, being, am Truth, therefore I, being, have all the attributes of Truth. Therefore I, being, am total, complete, one, united, harmonious.  Since I am mind (self-evident) and since I (being) am Truth, therefore Truth is mind.  (Two things equal to a third thing are equal to each other.)

2)    I am in a disharmonious relationship with my upstairs neighbor and with my camera.

Word-tracking:
harmony:  concord
concord:  one heart
heart:  love, affection
affection:  affect, to move someone
relationship:  connection
neighbor:  next door
object:  thing
thing:  something that exists on its own

3)    Truth being one and Truth being mind, therefore Truth is one mind.  Truth being all that is, therefore Truth is all that can affect or be affected.  Therefore Truth is all that can love or be loved.  Truth being one and a relationship implying more than one, therefore Truth can only be in a relationship with Itself.  Truth being all that is, there is nothing next door to Truth.  Therefore Truth leaves nothing out.  Since Truth can only have a relationship with Itself and since I, being, am Truth, therefore I, being, can only have a relationship with Myself.  Truth being one and Truth being all that is, therefore Truth is the only subject in the universe.. Since Truth is Mind and since Truth is all that is, that rules out things from the universe, therefore there are no objects in the Universe, only one Subject.

4)    Truth is one mind.
Truth is all that can affect or be affected.
Truth is all that can love or be loved.
Truth can only be in a relationship with Itself.
        Truth leaves nothing out.
I, being, can only have a relationship with Myself.
Truth is the only subject in the universe..
There are no objects in the Universe, only one Subject.

5)    Truth is one heart in love with Itself.

Egg Companies Assure Customers Dozen Has Always Meant 9

Published: March 13, 2025 (TheOnion.com)

JACKSON, MS—Seeking to assuage consumer concerns about dwindling supplies, the nation’s egg companies reportedly assured shoppers this week that a dozen has always meant nine. “While we have seen some temporary shortfalls due to the avian flu, I want to let all our loyal customers know that we will continue to sell delicious, farm-fresh eggs by the dozen, which is a colloquial way to refer to the number nine,” said Cal-Maine Foods CEO Sherman Miller, joining egg producers across the country to tout the product as still readily available in the same paper-pulp or plastic containers that hold a dozen eggs plus “three empty, bonus chambers.” “Eggs are a crucial staple of the American diet, and they’re not going anywhere. So come by your local grocery store today and pick out whatever size suits you best—our smaller half dozen, which is to say four eggs, all the way up to our 18-pack, which can hold anywhere from 12 to 15.” Miller added that his company was proud to continue their longstanding tradition of making one out of every five eggs a decoy made of styrofoam.

The Significance of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo – March 13, 2025

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on March 13, 2025, is a highly transformative celestial event that signals completion, clarity, and realignment in key areas of life. Lunar eclipses are powerful moments of revelation and release, often bringing unexpected changes and emotional breakthroughs. Since Virgo is an earth sign associated with health, work, daily routines, and self-improvement, this eclipse will encourage people to refine their habits, clear away inefficiencies, and take a more practical approach to their goals.

Key Themes of This Eclipse

1. Releasing Unhealthy Patterns and Creating Better HabitsVirgo is detail-oriented and disciplined, making this a strong time to restructure routines and eliminate inefficiencies. If you’ve been procrastinating on healthy lifestyle changes, this eclipse will push you to prioritize self-care, wellness, and organization.Expect revelations about what’s no longer serving your body, mind, and daily life, encouraging you to let go of unhealthy habits and replace them with more sustainable ones.

2. Clarity in Work, Responsibilities, and Life Purpose

  • Virgo rules work, service, and productivity, so this eclipse may highlight career shifts, job changes, or realizations about your sense of purpose.
  • You may feel a strong need to refine your skills, improve efficiency, or even change paths altogether if your current work is unfulfilling.
  • If you’ve been overworking, this eclipse could push you to set better boundaries and create a more balanced daily routine.

3. Letting Go of Perfectionism and Over thinking

  • Virgo energy can be highly self-critical and analytical, but this eclipse teaches that perfection is an illusion.
  • If you’ve been holding yourself back due to fear of failure or not being “good enough,” this is the time to release those limiting beliefs.
  • Trust that progress is more important than perfection, and take action instead of overanalyzing every step.

4. A Deep Emotional and Physical Detox

  • Full Moons, especially eclipses, are about release and transformation. Virgo’s influence makes this an ideal time for detoxing—whether that means cleansing your body, emotions, or surroundings.
  • You may feel the urge to declutter your home, remove toxic relationships, or cleanse your diet to create a healthier lifestyle.
  • This is also a great time for emotional healing, as Virgo helps bring logic and clarity to overwhelming emotions.

5. Increased Awareness of Health and Well-Being

  • Virgo rules wellness and the mind-body connection, making this eclipse a wake-up call to address any health concerns, stress levels, or self-care routines.
  • If you’ve been ignoring signs from your body, this eclipse might highlight the need for balance and better self-care.
  • Small but consistent changes—like improving your diet, setting a better sleep routine, or reducing stress—will have long-lasting benefits.

6. Strengthening Boundaries and Prioritizing What Matters

  • This eclipse encourages setting healthier boundaries in work, relationships, and personal responsibilities.
  • Virgo is a sign of service, but this is a reminder that helping others should not come at the expense of your own well-being.
  • If you’ve been feeling drained by obligations or relationships, now is the time to reprioritize and focus on what truly matters.

Who Will Feel This Eclipse the Most?

While everyone will experience this energy, those with strong Virgo or Pisces placements will feel it most intensely. This eclipse will have a significant impact on:

  • Virgo placements (Sun, Moon, Rising, or key planets in Virgo) – Major personal or career shifts, emotional clarity, and restructuring of daily life.
  • Pisces placements (opposite Virgo) – Deep emotional realizations, relationship shifts, and a need for better balance between logic and intuition.
  • Gemini & Sagittarius placements (square Virgo-Pisces axis) – Challenges or breakthroughs in communication, work-life balance, and personal growth.
  • Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) – Strong motivation to take practical action toward goals and long-term stability.

How to Harness the Energy of This Eclipse

  • Declutter and organize – Clear out what no longer serves you, whether it’s your home, workspace, or schedule.
  • Prioritize health and self-care – Focus on small, sustainable changes that improve well-being.
  • Let go of toxic patterns – Release perfectionism, self-doubt, and habits that drain your energy.
  • Reflect on your work and purpose – Assess whether your career or daily routine aligns with your values.
  • Practice mindfulness and grounding – Virgo energy thrives on practicality, so focus on being present in your daily life.
  • Set realistic, step-by-step goals – Use this energy to create a clear plan for your personal or professional growth.

Final Thoughts

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on March 13, 2025, is a cosmic turning point that invites clarity, healing, and practical transformation. It’s a time to release unhealthy habits, refine your routines, and realign with a healthier, more balanced way of living. While eclipses can bring unexpected shifts, trust that whatever changes occur are guiding you toward a more productive, grounded, and fulfilling future.

“WITH A FIRM RELIANCE ON THE PROTECTION OF DIVINE PROVIDENCE”

Perhaps a good idea right about now

MAR 14, 2025

Yesterday morning I co-hosted RISING. I’ll be doing that on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the next few weeks. Political.

Then yesterday afternoon I taught a class on miracle-mindednessSpiritual.

For those who are into astrology, with my Gemini ascendant that makes sense. They’re twin perspectives. I’m psychologically bi-lingual:).

In all seriousness, such duality means something if we’re to fully understand what’s happening today. Just as the mindset of the 20th Century was different than that of the 19th, the mindset of the 21st is different than the 20th. The 20th Century mindset was rationalistic and mechanistic. If you had a problem with anything in the world, all you had to do theoretically was tweak the pieces of the machine.

The 21st Century worldview is more holistic and whole person, recognizing that everything happening in the material world happens first within someone’s mind. Root cause analysis means an understanding not just of what is, but of why it is. Only when addressing the causal factors of a problem can we adequately solve it.

Spirituality is an understanding of the mind, and most specifically the relationship between mind and heart. It means the art and science of loving one another, recognizing how deeply interconnected and interdependent we are, and systematizing our care for each other. It means understanding what drives people, and if anything is clear from the political events of the last two years it’s that our political and media elite had no clue what was driving anyone. Through their 20th Century lens they saw 21st Century holism as a threat, needing to deride what they didn’t understand. Yet what they deemed woo woo was precisely the information they needed. It was one thing to hear certain things in their own presumed therapy sessions, but they were loathe to factor in such wisdom in analyzing our political dynamics. That conversation taking them out of their wheelhouse, they felt themselves both required – and entitled – to defend the 20th Century battlements of a dry and bygone political era.

By so viciously protecting their power, they doomed themselves to lose it.

That’s a bit about how we got here, but the question is what to do now.

This moment is perilous, yes, but only if we fail to take hold of it. The first thing to understand is that the mindset which lost to Trump in 2016, failed to stop his momentum in the years between his administrations, and failed to defeat him in 2024 is a mindset that has no clue what to do about him now.

Donald Trump has taken a hammer to what we felt we knew, pieces of a world we thought solidly in place now broken up and thrown into the air. His intentions are not beneficent, and the guy beside him represents an even greater danger. Together, they have demolished a world to which we will not be going back.

So back to astrology (I’m not an astrologer, only a hobbyist), it’s worth noting that the financial titan J.P. Morgan, who dominated Wall Street during the Gilded Age and Progressive eras, had this to say: “Millionaires don’t use astrology, billionaires do.” And I’ll tell you who else did: the Founders of the United States.

To them, metaphysics was a gentleman’s art. Our Founders knew exactly what they were doing when they formed a Grand Trine between the nation’s birthday in Cancer, election day in Scorpio, and the Presidential inauguration day (originally March 4th) in Pisces. Clearly FDR was not into astrology, because he changed the inauguration day to January 20th on the basis that November to March was too long a delay.

You might also want to look at the Great Seal of the United States, resting powerfully and soulfully on our money. The Great Pyramid of Giza, with its original capstone returned and emblazoned with the Eye of Horus, sits atop the wording of our national mission: Novus Order Seclorum, or New Order of the Ages. Their minds not having been poisoned by the later prejudices of Western materialism, they weren’t afraid to couple spiritual understanding with their extraordinary intellectual prowess. The Declaration of Independence specifically refers to Nature’s God, the Creator, the Supreme Judge of the World, and divine Providence.

A schism between the spiritual and political was created later, primarily by industrialization and scientific materialism towards the end of the 19th century. The schism was repaired by both Gandhi and MLK Jr. in the 20th. When I was a young woman, the Democratic Party seemed the natural heir to the philosophy of non-violence, both King and Bobby Kennedy Sr. unapologetically exhorting the nation to remember the needs of the soul. JFK had said, “We cannot afford to be materially rich and spiritually poor.”

It was only towards the end of the 20th Century that the Left became subtly contemptuous of overtly spiritual conversation among supposedly “smart” people. And that really worked out, huh? People (particularly Americans) are hardwired for connection to a Higher Power, and when the Left stopped providing space for it, there were those on the Right more than glad to rush in with an ersatz version.

And here we are.

One of the benefits of a spiritual worldview is that it recognizes, and understands, forces that lie beyond what the physical eye can see: both forces of good that protect us, and forces of evil that do us harm. According to the Declaration of Independence, our nation didn’t emanate from the idea that all men are equal, but from the idea that all men are created equal. It doesn’t say that the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness were simply good ideas, so we may as well throw them in. No. They said that men were endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. It says government’s job is to secure those rights. In other words, the document recognizes and acknowledges a cosmic order, seeking to create a government as close as possible to its reflection.

That’s one of the reasons the First Amendment protects religious (as well as non-religious) freedom. The Founders recognized that overlaying religious dogma or doctrine into government is dangerous, not helpful. The architecture of our country was what we might today call “spiritual, but not religious.”

All phenomena emanates from a source that is either connected to spirit, or a denial of it. Everything leads to either love or fear. Over the last hundred and fifty years, Western civilization has embraced the peculiar delusion that thought can be neutral. But it cannot. That which is not love, becomes love’s enemy. An amoral political and economic order was bound to create immoral consequences. We were founded on a deeply spiritual vision, which as a nation we have forgotten. And where there is no vison, a nation perishes. In fact, it can become vulnerable to evil. Need I say more?

I hear the Democrats are meeting for a retreat this weekend, and I imagine what an angel would say if one were invited to speak. The advice I think an angel would give is this: “Guys, you might want to wipe that smirk off your face.”

While I’m hardly an angel, I did make a comment at a 2020 Democratic Presidential debate (back when we had them) that I think has proved prescient: “If you think all that wonkiness is going to be enough to deal with the dark psychic force of the collectivized hatred that man has released in this country, then I think the Democrats are going to see some very dark days.” The elite laughed of course, but now the laugh is sadly on them.

Authoritarianism – and to be clear, it’s no longer lurking; it’s now here – is a spiritual attack on our God-given freedom. The history of American social justice movements is rife with a spiritually informed yearning for justice – from Abolitionist meetings in the early evangelical churches of New Hampshire, to the Women’s Suffrage movement founded by Quaker women, to the Baptist preaching of Martin Luther King, Jr. Now, what we forgot we can remember. Divine Providence has no ego with which to be offended by our lack of interest, but it is ever ready to pour its Light upon us as we remember the power of its protection.

Our freedom has been checkmated by powers of this world. It will be resurrected and revitalized by the power of our Creator whence it came.

Tarot Cards for March 14: Lord of Valour and Debauch

The Seven of Wands

The Lord of Valour reminds us to take stock of our inner reserves of courage and strength. It will often come up to mark times where great change is in the air, where momentous decisions need to be made, and where we must grasp the moment. On a day ruled by the Seven of Wands, the most important thing is to be alert for opportunities and great chances. Often these come up completely out of the blue, and must be seized without hesitation. This card often marks those apparently coincidental occurrences which begin a chain of events that leads us into a decisive and fulfilling life change. So pay special attention to everything that happens today. And at the same time, keep a running check on your own feelings. If today is the day upon which your dearest dream comes true, how will you feel? Are you ready to let change run in your life? Are you prepared to take risks? And do you feel that today, you trust yourself? If you encounter resistance of any sort on a day ruled by the Lord of Valour, remember that this card is about being true to yourself, following the voice of your own heart, and protecting your needs and hopes. This is a day in which you need to believe in yourself. So hold hard against anything which interferes with that. Refuse to allow anything (or anybody) to undermine you. And keep in touch with what you believe to be true. And if you do all those things, today could bring miracles into your life!!

Affirmation: “I welcome life and embrace opportunity.”
The Seven of Cups

The Lord of Debauch is one of those warning cards that we must always take seriously when we come under his influence. Without fail, when he appears we must expect to be subjected to some kind of temptation or test. We must be on our guard for making the exact mistake that he tells us is possible.Temptations come in many shapes and forms, don’t they? Some of these are minor, and others much more serious. The Seven of Cups deals primarily with sensual pleasures… sex, food, money, status.Sometimes, the card indicates that we are surrounded by a multitude of different pleasures, and cannot quite make our minds up which ones to choose, out of the many available to us. In so doing, we miss the boat altogether and end up with nothing. Or, alternatively, we greedily snatch at everything we see, possibly missing the real treasure that is waiting for us to notice it.Greed, triviality, surrender of moral ethics are the big problems when this card appears. We must guard firmly against any of these things, holding hard to our sense of love and goodness. On a day ruled by this card, you need to keep a sharp eye open for all of the above. Also try to monitor your reactions and responses to others – another way we can give in to the Lord of Debauch is to treat another human being in a way we wouldn’t wish to be treated ourselves. If your irritability quotient goes up, spend some time with yourself working out why, and then deal with it. That way you won’t snap the heads off the people you love. If you feel impatient and frustrated, again, work out why… then go and satisfy yourself. On the high spiritual level, this is a day where forgetting what you believe in will accrue some debt unnecessarily. Be alert for tests of your belief, strong in your love, and bright in your life. That way you should pass the test!!

Affirmation: “I am strong in love and bright in life. I shine with the radiance of a star.”
