He is author of American Metaphysical Religion: Esoteric and Mystical Traditions of the New World. He is coauthor with Tamra Lucid of The Magic of the Orphic Hymns: A New Translation for the Modern Mystic. Early in the twentieth century, Stewart Edward White was one of the most popular writers on spiritualist and metaphysical matters. Among his many books, The Betty Book and The Unobstructed Universe were best-sellers.
