Robert Lee Frost was a widely read and celebrated American poet known for his realistic depictions of rural New England life in the early 20th century. His work often incorporated American slang and explored complex social and philosophical themes. Frost was awarded four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry and is considered an icon of American literature.
