“High Watch” or “Calling on the Truth” (from Robert McEwen, H.W., M.)

Well, the world appears to be a big mess.  Somedays it is difficult to stay sane and do straight thinking.  May we all support each other in cooperative harmony now.

A mess in every way in appearances.  Appearances can deceive as we have learned in Spiritual Teachings of all sorts.  Scientifically or climate change is pointing to the possible ending of this planet sustainability.  Politically we seem to have an “insanity” in conflict with any intelligence, ethics, and our compassionate nature.  The loving and compassionate nature can be very helpful now and is being called to be put into action.  People are walking “time bombs”  of rage.  It shows up in”being right”which I run into with people everywhere. It shows up in traffic and of course, the media.

“Being right” is a defense of the ego and requires no thinking, only a fear based reaction.  This is a dangerous state for us to be in individually and collective.  People seem to be “quick to the draw”to defend and to attack.  This is fear psychologically in action among much of the population if you look at, and listen to most anyone anywhere. Retreating into being Spiritually arrogant by being above it all, or denial of the reports of the senses, neither are effective in the avalanche of insanity.  Each of us do make a difference and can bring a calm into action to those around us.  Not to mention ourselves!

Translation of this insanity is important.  The Dean, Al Haferkamp told me on the phone once, “This is what the man (Thane) was preparing us for.  The insanity that the High Watch will require us all to be active in.  The function of High Watch keeps ourselves sane, and those around us.  Translation in motion, active in all at all times.  There is no let up or break from it now.  We are prepared and have the tools.   We are in the the middle of putting all we have learned to use.

And so it is.

“Sun in Gemini opposing Saturn in Sagittarius” by Robert McEwen, H.W., M.

June 15, 2017

Sun transiting the sign of Gemini opposing Saturn, the planet of legal and governments is in action big time today.  Trump being a Gemini with Sagittarius Moon will get hit hard legally from Saturn.  This could take him down hard moving the way to his impeachment.  Another big brick in the wall.  The Russian voting hacking the 2016 election, along with various other accusations.

Mercury, the planet of communication and rules the NEWS  is following right behind in Gemini to opposing Saturn as well!  This all bringing the NEWS into an attack on all counts that are against Mr. Trump.  (Not My President).  This will be a critical 10 days that most likely will take him to his knees.

In my humble opinion.

“WHAT’S UP WITH FATHER’S DAY” by Calvin Harris (siteofcontact.net)

fathers ane new born.jpg

With all this talk of the New Male and gender equality, one of the most unlooked at places to find this has been going on under our noses for a long time now, and maybe taken for granted: This is in the area of family.  This is where the regular working man drops the macho posturing when it comes to his children. Men have been known to cry, to put on a dress or at least a hat for his little girl’s tea party. Then again hug and even kiss his son in public to show support for some effort the son has done.  It seems these out of character acts have been going on for some time now and they have not gone completely unnoticed. As the story goes, on June 19, 1910, a Father’s Day celebration was held at the YMCA in Spokane, Washington by Sonora Smart Dodd. Her father, the civil war veteran William Jackson Smart, was a single parent who raised his six children alone.

It seemed she may have been inspired by The “Mother’s Day” celebration originated by Ann Reeves Jarvis who after the Civil War, in the 1860s, brought together the mothers of Confederate and Union soldiers, to unify a divided West Virginia town with the celebration of “Mother’s Work Days” and then in 1914, President Woodrow Wilson approved a resolution that made the second Sunday in May a holiday in honor of “that tender, gentle army, the mothers of America.”

It was the love of Sonora Smart Dodd for her nurturing father that somehow morphed into Washington State celebrating the nation’s first statewide Father’s Day on June 19, 1910. Slowly the movement grew until in 1924, President Calvin Coolidge urged state governments to observe a celebration for the nation’s fathers.

FATHER’S DAY: More than Controversy and Hype

Yet many scoffing men will tell you with disdain that father’s day is an attempt to domesticate manliness with bribes of gift-giving, or that it’s just a commercial gimmick and what’s worse a chance for retailers to sell more products–often paid for by the father himself. Needless to say this has spurred movements to scrap Father’s Day altogether.

Paradoxically, it seemed to have caught and held on to the nations unconscious, for purchases  from neckties and shirts, to socks, to pipes and booze, and sporting goods gear to electronics has grown as a way to show respect and love. But no other dominates like the greeting card: given as a way to honor and pay tribute to Dad.

On this Father’s Day let’s pay tribute to those men of diverse backgrounds that took it upon themselves to take on the challenge, to not just be better fathers and grandfathers but better defenders of the fatherless. Those men who adopted Children, or became Big Brothers, or decided on their own to have and raise a child, many times alone.

“Celebrate Gay Pride Day!” by Robert McEwen, H.W., M.

What was the astrology for June 28, 1969?

The Official Gay Pride is coming up and the LGBT community is excited and active around the world.  June 28th.  Stonewall uprising began at the Stone wall Inn in June 28th 1969. .  Back then the astrology had very radical statements to make.  Now we have to defend some of those rights.  Lets do it together!

Back then there were a few astrological aspects I would like to mention.

Uranus in Libra~

Uranus was in Libra blowing up the structures of dualistic thinking about sex.  Androgyny became expressed in Gay liberation.  Came out and waved the freak flag high!  Rainbow spectrum of sexual fluidity that Suzanne Deakins speaks of.   Creativity being the force of expression of freedom that is the underlying dynamic.

There  were a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations by members of against a police raid that took place in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969.These influences, along with the liberal environment of Greenwich Village, served as catalysts for the Stonewall riots.  Very few establishments welcomed openly gay people in the 1950s and 1960s. Those that did were often bars, although bar owners and managers were rarely gay. At the time, the Stonewall Inn was owned by the Mafia.

After the Stonewall riots, gays and lesbians in New York City faced gender, race, class, and generational obstacles to becoming a cohesive community. Within six months, two gay activist organizations were formed in New York, concentrating on confrontational tactics, and three newspapers were established to promote rights for gays and lesbians. Within a few years, gay rights organizations were founded across the U.S. and the world. On June 28, 1970,GAY PRIDE  then took place in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago commemorating the anniversary of the riots. Similar marches were organized in other cities. Today, Gay Pride events are held annually throughout the world toward the end of June to mark the Stonewall riots.

Be creative and bold, loving and active during this time.  Androgynous sexual  fluidity is our natural way to express so celebrate the love.
