Here he discusses the controversies that occurred when TED talks by biologist Rupert Sheldrake and writer Graham Hancock were removed due to pressure from individuals proclaiming themselves as scientific skeptics. He also explains the process by which similar zealots have come to dominate Wikipedia. He argues that open discussion of new or unpopular ideas is more effective than censorship.
