New Thinking Allowed with Jeffrey Mishlove Feb 8, 2026 Glenn Aparicio Parry, PhD, also given the name Kizhe Naabe (Ojibwe for Kind-Hearted Man), is author of Original Politics: Making American Sacred Again and also Original Thinking: A Radical ReVisioning of Time, Humanity, and Nature. He addresses questions concerning the plight of native Americans and whether or not their ecological perspectives are being over-romanticized. Ultimately, he proposes that love can be built upon a foundation of respect and understanding. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series.
