As a Mentor and astrologer, I confront issues to translate and release on a daily basis. Always something new, and often old memories of the culture present themselves. Starts by some aches of consciousness of waking up and getting out of bed! Age has a history or collective sense testimony. To find the truth underneath the appearances is what Translation proposes.
“I have not even had my coffee yet, so just hold on mind…stop chattering at me so early! I have not even found my glasses yet! Dam it!“
Can I find the Truth, absolute under this messy mind of error attachments and identifications? What is that Totality Field saying to me? Stop it…gotta make some French roast now, very strong and dark!”
Health is the new sense testimony, at this age. But, age is age old! Health Care is at the top of discussions at Starbucks. People are dying around me in this community of older 55. Death becomes a teacher in learning the truth of it. This is a different stage in life than I ever thought I would have to experience because, after all, I am forever young! Bob Dylan wrote a beautiful lyric to that idea. “May you stay, forever young!” The young are worshiped in our commercial advertising and magazines. Cosmopolitan and Vogue cover girls of 14 being made up to be a beautiful 22 year old. Face lifts, botox injections and the rest. Weight loss is a 5 billion dollar industry. Just ask Christie Alley.
A shaman is concerned with the health and well being of the entire community, not just one person. This extends to all plants, animals and the whole environment. Shamans transverse into spirit worlds typically by inducing an ecstatic state, which then leads to states of trance and spiritual, or sometimes physical, transformations. This state is achieved by different methods, depending on the traditions of the particular shaman, which vary often by location. Thane was ours, and Mentors are in training of the consciousness of the Shaman.
You are your own shaman and in your community as well. Translation and RHS your handy tools to carve your way through the appearances of age. Birth and Death are very significant days. Translate those words and share what you came up with? Now, get out of my way… I got to have my coffee and see what sign the Moon is in!”
