In Bohemia, during the early years of the seventeenth century, there existed for about twenty years a tolerant mixture of alchemists, kabbalists, muslim scholars, Catholics, hermeticists, protestants, philosophers, and troubadours. It was a continuation of humanity’s authentic, life-giving tradition. While it ended with the beginning of the Thirty Years War, it also was a seed for the German Romantic movement. New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). (Recorded on February 27, 2021)
