  1. I’m having trouble finding the exact quote or it’s author, but I believe it was Auden who said something along the lines of:

    A poet is someone standing out in the rain. If he or she gets struck by lightning, that’s considered pretty good. If the he or she is struck more than once, it’s considered greatness.
