Story: The Beloved’s Door

The Beloved’s Door

A man knocked repeatedly on the door of the Beloved,
longing for union with the Divine. A voice from within
asked, “Who is it?” He answered, “It is I.” But the door
remained closed, and his longing grew more intense over
the years.

Finally, after long years of inner transformation, he
returned to the door and when asked again, said, “It is
You.” In that moment the door opened effortlessly.
