“The best way to break a habit is to clearly see that habit and how it manifests. Don’t try to control the habit. Try to see the habit. Because when you see through its camouflage, when you see it naked, it will dissolve.”

The timeless flow is the state of non-resistance, and the potential for it exists within us all. It is like the fast-flowing water in the center of a river. When you enter this highest potential for flow by offering no resistance, even though you are still within the experience of time, it is not something you have to consider. To completely let go and ‘go with the flow’ is to release the need for that kind of thinking.

If a tree falls in the woods, but there is no one there to hear it, does it make a sound? If you do not live in relation to time, such that it is not part of your perceptible experience, do you still exist within time?

Consciousness determines reality. A self no longer conscious of the passing of time is no longer living within time (meaning they are not contained by time). They are in a timeless state. As human beings, we all move in and out of the rigidity of time, all the time. This is not some rare phenomenon. You feel it when you get lost in a book, a game, a movie, a meditative state, or love.

The timeless flow is the experience of life that occurs when you let go of all resistance and ‘go with the flow.’

When you aren’t attached to creating a particular outcome, you no longer need to control what is happening. When you are no longer trying to hit temporal markers, you will discover your own time … your own timings. And, because of how humanity is currently so ruled / governed / controlled by time, this different experience of time does not feel like time at all. Because of how we have conditioned our perception, when we experience the fluidity of time (as opposed to its potential for rigidity that we have been exploring), it feels like leaving time / stepping out of time.

Fluid time feels like timelessness because we have come to recognize time as being rigid / inflexible / unalterable.

Time can be experienced as being a fluid movement or a rigid container. As such, it is a creative tool used in the expression of being. We use it as we see fit to shape our experience of self. To spiritually awaken is to progressively adopt a more fluid relationship with time. This is because your spirit exists in what to us seems like a timeless state. However, in reality, it exists within the fluidity of time.

To live within the fluidity of time is to stop being governed by events occurring in an unalterable sequence, such that you can experience any moment (or sequence of moments) at any time you wish. So ‘moments,’ instead of being lost in the past, are always accessible. The ‘temporal address’ of a moment is like a library card used to access and experience that moment in the grand library of all moments.

To be within the timeless flow is to be in a relationship with life where you are no longer governed by time through no longer relating to it as a rigid structure that contains and defines you.

Learning to enter the timeless flow isn’t a clear process and objective like learning to live off the grid. It is important to understand that it is in no way a protest against time. You cannot feel this flow based upon a rejection of the rigidity of time. There can be no resistance to experiencing the rigidity of time within your intention to enter the timeless flow.

Love peace, don’t hate war. Love fluidity, don’t lay your hate on rigidity. The rigidity of time that we have been exploring is not to blame for our suffering. You do not need to try to escape it. Leaving the rigidity of time starts with recognizing that you are the one who willingly and wisely chose to focus on the rigidity. This is sovereignty — the taking of responsibility for your own experience.

Sovereignty is the knowing, in each and every moment, of “I am choosing this. I am creating this.”

To enter the timeless flow is to live through the knowing that ‘going with the flow’ will consistently deliver you to where you need to be, precisely when you need to be there (synchronicity). This is achieved through learning to follow your own guidance and is something that anyone can do.

We all have access to the wider perspective that we birth from and eternally exist within, but it has become buried beneath the noise and distractions of the outer world. As human beings, we are conditioned to keep choosing one thing over another through a judgment of their relative values. We designed ourselves to be judgmental by default. To ‘go with the flow,’ you have to learn to stop doing this, and that takes a special dance of focus.

Going with the flow is all about letting go of control. We try to control our reality by making choices to affect it. To go with the flow is to let the river’s current take you effortlessly through any forks in the road. This is the experience of not needing to make choices, and it can only be experienced when you are no longer trying to control reality.

Only when you accept yourself and your reality ‘as you are’ will you let the flow of life determine your choices.

To let go is to stop choosing. To stop choosing is to release control. To release control is to accept reality as it is, such that you do not feel you need to act to change it. This is to stop judging reality against an idea of how it ‘should be.’ However, even our greatest acceptance arises out of judgment. It says, “I have judged you and deemed you to be as lovely as a thing can be.”

The experience of the timeless flow within us is the experience our spirit has. Our spirit does not judge its reality because, if it did, it would always receive the answer that all is well / exactly as it should be / exactly as you want it. And, if you get the same answer eternally, you stop asking.

To enter the timeless flow, start with learning how ‘all is well’ will always be your spirit’s response to you questioning the state of reality. This allows you to break the habit of constantly questioning reality, such that you can fully let go and enter the flow.

The best way to break a habit is to clearly see that habit and how it manifests. Don’t try to control the habit. Try to see the habit. Because when you see through its camouflage, when you see it naked, it will dissolve.

Once you have seen through your habits, you will find yourself left with the choice of ‘where to focus,’ with there being a strong inclination to focus on judging reality (because of the voice in the back of our heads that says, ‘surely this could be improved and surely that would be a good thing’).

Allow your focus to enter the flow.

We are each a self-determining focus of infinite consciousness. A focus focuses on something. How do we focus on this invisible flow? The answer is simplicity itself. It is to focus on the feeling of being in the flow, which is the feeling of the flow.

This feeling can be interpreted in many ways in this reality. People chasing highs in dangerous sports or through drugs are chasing this feeling. But, for myself and those that resonate with my work, you will have most clearly felt it at the times you have identified as feeling your spirit.

Your spirit exists in the timeless flow.

The timeless flow feels like your spirit feels because your spirit is feeling the timeless flow. In this reality, to feel your spirit is to feel its love, and its love feels like guidance. We tend to interpret this feeling as our spirit sending us messages of ‘what we should do.’ But what we experience as guidance does not have that kind of agenda.

Guidance is us tapping into our spirit’s perception of us. It is to tap into seeing your own beauty and perfection. It is to tap into what it feels like to love and appreciate yourself. This is the perspective from which your magnificence is clear. This feels like our focus is being steered in a particular direction … the direction of clarity. Therefore, it feels like we are being ‘sent’ particular guidance when we are, in fact, just being sent a clear picture of ourselves.

The ‘agenda’ of all guidance is to see yourself clearly / know thyself.

This guidance is also what is described as the feeling of resonance. When you feel something resonating, it is a statement that something you are experiencing outside of yourself feels like the beautiful feeling of ‘all is well’ that you experience through your feeling of guidance / spirit.

Resonance has no opposite. It is a feeling that either is or isn’t present. It is not attraction. It is peace. It is stillness. To perceive something and resonate with it is to see it with such clarity that you know ‘all is well’. It is to recognize what you are looking at and know that you know it well. We may express this as ‘knowing it to be true’, but really it is ‘to know it intimately through feeling’. In this state, the tuning fork of your heart is resonating with the tuning fork of its heart.

This feeling of resonance can apply to anything. Focusing on this core, wordless, timeless level of guidance is the most effective way to break our habit of judging everything we perceive. Remember, the feeling of resonance is the feeling of the timeless flow. That is why you know it intimately. It is where your spirit exists. It is the simplicity from which our complexity has arisen.

The timeless flow is the womb from which we emerged and the calling to which we now return.

Let this beautiful feeling become the habit. The feeling of resonance replaces the need to judge because it is the knowing that all is well. When all is well, you can relax because there is nothing you need to judge. Let this feeling become a groove / your sweet spot / a wave of effortless transformation that you ride. This wave will take you through all the choices you need to make, like the current of a river naturally taking you left or right at a fork. There is no evaluation. There is no need to evaluate or judge. Why spoil the surprise?

The more we trust in the flow, the sooner we get back to reality, surprising us as a joyful thing, rather than something to be feared. In this state, you are still moving along in time like everyone else, but it is not dictating your actions. It is not making you contort to fit its nature. Time is simply not of your concern.

This is a state you can embrace and ride by focusing on the feeling of it … by focusing on things that you resonate with.

Take what resonates and leave the rest.

Time is only felt when resisted.

The flow is only felt when resisted.

Going with the flow feels like resonance because it reminds us of the eternal state we emerged from.

The best way to release resistance is to follow the resonance of your heart.

Find ‘all is well’ within you. It exists. It is there. It is calling to you.
