Richard Phillips Feynman (May 11, 1918 – February 15, 1988 ) was a Nobel Prize-winning American theoretical physicist and a prominent figure in post-WWII physics. He’s known for his work in quantum mechanics, quantum electrodynamics, and superfluidity, and for proposing the parton model in particle physics.
