Jupiter from the James Webb Space telescope

This image of Jupiter was taken by the James Webb Space telescope, using special filters that showcase various details of the gas giant planet. Of particular interest are the auroras, extending to high altitudes over both the northern and southern poles. This composite image was processed by Judy Schmitt, a citizen scientist, from Modesto, CA.
