I just watched this amazing documentary on Amazon Prime. To me, it explains some of what Translations can do/does (rewires the brain). It talks about the plasticity of the brain. There is a therapy where illusion or imagination can actually change how the brain functions.
I highly recommend this documentary and feel it is something we can actually talk about in Ad Sem and Translation. It made me think that in some ways science was catching up with Thane.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I’ve been following these developments in a desultory way for a good many years now, and it was great to get such a clear & concise update.
Especially heartening was the emphasis on language such as “incremental efforts” and variations on that – which we would call “fly efforts” – or we used to, anyway.
There was a segment on NPR a while back on the importance of practice & training, which I’ll try to find in the nest few days.
As I have been translating, there has been so many false inputs around androgyny? And as I’ve translated more and more, I’ve found that both math and our lettering system’s have an innate feminine/masculine reference back and behind these discipline’s? And thus the more we work and practice translation new vista’s of recognition begin to manifest and become awareness/aha moment’s that were hidden:>). Thus the very emotional intimacy, intensity, I so yearned for as a Scorpio infant into adult evolution is in translation<3 Thus retraining my mentation, imagination to accept my emotional creativity ).
