Because physical matter and linear time are a perceptual illusion / projection of consciousness, so is our individuality. Your mortal sense of self (through which you experience a self-contained by time and space) is a projection of a wider state of consciousness than that mortal self.
Your individuality is like a creative work of art (perhaps a painting or sculpture) that is experienced through ‘being’ / existing as it. In the same way you may fall under the spell of a book, movie, or role-playing game by temporarily projecting your consciousness into it (in order to experience a fantasy / fantastical story of self), so this wider state of consciousness projected itself into its creation. Your self is that vessel of self.
You are the wider state of consciousness within the vessel of self it created.
However, the place where this analogy does not work is in its discrepancy of value from the artist to the art because of how we see the artist as the creator and the artwork as the ‘product’ of that creator. You are not a product produced by your wider state of consciousness. You are not worth less than the wider state of consciousness (that created the mortality you are within the experience of) because you are the wider state of consciousness. Separation is an illusion. All that consciousness ‘produces’ is perceptual self-transformation.
You are not produced by another consciousness. You are a state of transformation of that consciousness.
The word ‘projection’ provides a useful bridging point between the ideas of production and transformation. You are a projection of your wider self. All projections of consciousness are of equal value to that consciousness because they are that consciousness.
Projections of consciousness are made with consciousness. There is nothing else in existence. There is only one undivided consciousness. All of creation is that consciousness. Nothing is not. Everything is. I am. You are. We are made of the same thing. We are the same thing. We are consciousness. We are the one consciousness within an experience of projection.
The illusion is as real as that which created the illusion.
The illusion is as real as that which perceives the illusion.
It cannot be said that your mortal self is not real, but your spirit is real. Your spirit is a part of many wider collectives. In your current form, the collective of humanity / the Earth is the most significant collective regarding your deepest state of transformation. Those collectives are the individuals of other still wider, more inclusive collectives. This is a smooth dimensional scale all the way back to source consciousness (which is the collective of everything).
If you take the journey of waking up by widening your perception to subsume collectives, you soon realize that the individuals of a collective are of equal value to that collective because when you open your aperture of perception enough, every collective can be experienced as an individual. On Earth, this realization is typically called ‘Enlightenment.’ This is when you experience yourself as the collective / bridging consciousness of humanity. In this moment, you experience the many of that collective as one. The feeling of being one is the feeling of being an individual.
Every collective is an individual.
Every state of collective consciousness can be experienced as a oneness. There is not some alternation between the created and the creator. The created is the creator.
This is easier to recognize when it is seen to play out over linear time, where it becomes the story of a life (a journey of transformation rather than a defined point). Your parents create you. You are the created. You grow up / mature. You have your own children. You are now the creator as well as the created.
There is not just source consciousness directly experiencing infinite realities. Realities birth from realities. Selves birth from selves — projections birth projections. We are experiencing the dance of awakening to the collective through physical mortal embodiments. No matter what reality you are in, you are in the dance of awakening to the collective.
You will always be waking up in a collective and discovering that collective to be an individual in yet another collective.
In this, there is nowhere we need to get to. There is nowhere we are trying to get to. We are just choosing experiences to have. We are having experiences we have chosen. We are being. There is nowhere you need to get to with this being. There is no mission. There is no deeper purpose than the tasting of experience.
Waking up to the collective is not the end of the journey of waking up to the collective. To finish closing the door of humanity is to find yourself beginning the journey again but in a different form. When you are finished having different human lives, you will switch to being a different form of life.
And, when you awaken in that new world, you will remember it has always been. You will remember the individual you are there. You will meet other individuals there. You will all seem so different. But, as you come to further know and love those other individuals, you will understand how you are the same, and you will conceive of the state of reality that has the ability to house your diversity. In this, you will begin to conceive of that next level of collective that is creating every individual in that realm of experience.
There is only one story.
There is only one journey. What has been before will happen again. There is only one diamond. There is only one consciousness. There is only one love for one self. But … it has infinite faces. And with each face, it feels fresh and new because we carve our realities with the creation of unconsciousness / forgetting.
There are infinite carvings in one block of marble, and they can look so different from each other or just a minor variation. The disguise of individuality is perfect. Our masks are a miracle. Marvel at my mask. Marvel at your mask. It is a mask that turns one experience into many experiences, each as real as that first experience. It is as real because it still is that first experience, just wearing different clothes, speaking differently, acting differently, playing a different self.
All experiences of self have equal potential.
There is no better experience to get to. The idea of trying to get to a better experience is an idea of separation between you and that experience. To awaken is to realize that the experience you want isn’t somewhere you need to get to. It is a state of consciousness you can adopt wherever you are.
You are not trying to get back ‘home.’ You are trying to remember that you are the creator of home, and it will be wherever you choose to make it. But, to choose to make it, you must believe you can make it. When you don’t believe you can create your home, you resign yourself to making a place you hope to find ‘out there.’
Home is the blueprint of your heart without fear. Enact the blueprint in your heart into the modalities of this world. You are a pioneer. Create your home. Not as a mission, but because it feels good to do it … because it is what you want … because it is in your heart.
Home is what happens when you listen to your heart.
