Philosophical Midwifery: A New Paradigm for Understanding Human Problems with Its Validation

The subtitle of Philosophical Midwifery…makes the rather bold claim
that it is New Paradigm for Understanding Human Problems. It is expected that such a claim may be met with a healthy dose of skepticism were it not for the fact that the author bases the claim of being a new paradigm on Thomas Kuhn’s 1969 thesis on The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. Equally, the theory of PM is shown to be consistent with the most scientific theories in Chaos theory, Recursive Algorithmic theory, Systems theory, and Field theory and it is contrasted in a comparative study to Western and Eastern philosophy and to the principle systems of psychotherapy
