Josh Worth has created a model that is faithful to the emptiness between the sun and the planets! I hope you try it out.

Thanks Mike for posting this–did you try it?
Here’s an effect it had on me:
— I did the model and had at least a simulated experience the incredibly vast emptiness of the solar system (SS). Also the relative sizes–if the moon is a pixel, how big is the earth or Jupiter; the sun is quite big, etc.
— The next time I was out at night, it was moonless and the stars were bright and clear–these are WAY outside the SS–but there they are–I can see them.
— What happened to all the vast emptiness? Is it still there? If so, how can I even see *anything* across that distance??
What do you think?
