Word-Built World: polycule

A polycule is a network of three or more people in non-monogamous, romantic, or intimate relationships. The term is a combination of the words “poly” and “molecule”, and is meant to describe how the relationships in a polycule can resemble a diagram of a molecule’s atomic bonds. Polycules can take many forms, such as a triad (three people) or a quad (four people), but they can also be much larger and more complex.
